Commonwealth Properties is the property management company which manages the University Club's facilities.  In addition to the Club, it also manages a unique group of historic properties, each of which offers discounts to University Club members.  The following is a brief description of the main properties. 

Hotel 340

Hotel 340  is a 56 room boutique hotel located in the Saint Paul Athletic Club building in downtown Saint Paul.  The hotel offers a wide variety of rooms and suites - most with kitchenettes.  The hotel features a stunning lobby (and a fireside lobby bar), and hotel guests receive complimentary access to the Saint Paul Athletic Club, a 68,000 square foot, state-of-the-art fitness and wellness facility located in the building.  To inquire about the hotel or to make reservations today, call 651-280-4120.   

Summit Avenue Carriage House

The Burbank-Livingston Griggs Mansion Carriage House is located immediately adjacent to the Summit Avenue Clubhouse's pool.  It is a fully furnished two bedroom apartment with a fireplace - available for rent daily, weekly or monthly.  The views from most windows are spectacular.


Office Properties

In addition to office space at the University Club, Commonwealth Properties offers many unique office spaces located across multiple historic properties in Cathedral Hill and downtown Saint Paul:


The Dacotah Building (home to W.A. Frost on the ground floor/basement level) offers architecturally distinguished office spaces - most overlooking W.A. Frost's patio.   Single offices and small suites are currently available.

The Saint Paul Athletic Club located at 340 Cedar Street in downtown Saint Paul is a 1917 landmark building built in the English Renaissance tradition.  It is perhaps best known for housing its namesake health and wellness club, Hotel 340, and University Club event space, but it also features diverse office space.  Current tenants include the the College of St. Scholastica (St. Paul location), the the Global Language Institute.
