All field trips are $50 (excluding Minnesota History Museum which is $40)

Stout's Island Camping Trip: August 18–20

Embark on an unforgettable adventure with our camping trip to Stout's Island. Experience the great outdoors, bond with fellow campers around the campfire, and create memories that will last a lifetime.

Safety Measures and Camper-to-Staff Ratio:

  • Camp U Club will provide dedicated camp counselors at each camp station during Summer 2024.
  • The staff-to-camper ratio will vary depending on the activity and age group, ensuring appropriate supervision and guidance.


Meals and Snacks:

  • Campers may bring snacks and reusable water bottles to camp.
  • The University Club will offer a daily bag lunch that campers can purchase by requesting it before 10 am.
  • Healthy snack options will be available for purchase during camp hours at the poolside canteen.


Grouping in Activities:

  • Camp U Club will have dedicated time for swimming teams divided by age and abilities.
  • Counselors will provide supervision and encourage age-appropriate activities for all campers.


Daily Essentials:

  • Campers need to bring a reusable water bottle, closed-toe shoes, goggles, team swimsuit, towel, snack, and sunscreen.
  • Belongings should be labeled, and campers should bring a bag or backpack to store their items, with a dedicated place provided at the club.


Allergy and Medical Needs:

  • Campers with medical or allergy concerns should fill out the medical information provided in the Camp U Club registration packet.
  • The camp coordinator will work with parents to ensure the child's needs are met during camp hours.
  • The club will not administer any over the counter or prescription medicines during camp hours.


Electronic Devices Policy:

  • Campers are asked to keep electronic devices in their backpacks during camp hours.
  • Parents can rest assured that campers can contact them using phones located inside the clubhouse, with contact information readily available at the membership office.


Parent Visits and Volunteer Opportunities:

  • Parents are encouraged to volunteer and support camp activities by contacting the membership department.
  • Chaperoning field trips are also encouraged.


Cancellation and Refund Policy:

  • No refunds will be offered for camp registrations after June 1.
  • Field trips will be charged to the member account the Monday of the field trip week and refunds will only be issued if the entire trip is canceled.


Behavioral Issues and Conflict Resolution:

  • Campers are expected to follow pool area rules and show kindness and respect to all participants, counselors, and supervisors.
  • Campers may be asked to leave for the day if their behavior harms another camper or requires one-on-one attention from a counselor.
  • Camp U Club reserves the right to revoke a camper's summer camp experience if behavioral expectations are not met and this behavior is disrupting the camp experience for other campers


Additional Fees:

  • The camp fee of $250.00 does not include Field Trip Friday, Mini Camps, workshops, snacks, and meals.
  • Swim team participants will need to purchase a team swimsuit, cap, and goggles.


Typical Day Schedule:

A typical camp day involves rotating activities across the Camp U Club property, including backyard games, craft tables, swim practice, outdoor yard games, and pop-up tournaments and leagues, with staff supporting and guiding the activities.
