The LOBBY
Reminiscent of the grand hotel lobbies of the early part of this
century, the Downtown University Club foyer boasts a magnificent
wood-burning fireplace, marble floors and columns, and a new
full service bar adjacent. The lobby, the other areas of the
building, is furnished with period and antique furnishings. See more photos and a QuickTime VR
here. |

GRILL BAR
No club would be complete without a grill bar! Beautifully crafted
English oak paneling, decorated plaster ceiling and period light
fixtures reminiscent of the Arts and Crafts period. Well suited
for business meetings (for up to 100 people) or social functions
of all kinds. |

GRAND BALLROOM
The third floor main dining room, painstakingly restored to its
original (1917) appearance, features an intricate ornamental
plaster ceiling, dark marble walls, and tasteful appointments
you've come to expect from the University Club. Far and away
the most impressive features in this room are the perfectly restored
two-story windows. Covered up during the energy efficiency mania
of the 70's, these magnificent arches allow both south and west
exposure granting natural light throughout the day. For up to
400 people. See more photos and a
QuickTime VR here. |

OAK ROOM
Located on the second floor (with easy access to the skyway),
this also serves as the members' private dining room during the
lunch hour. Beautiful oak paneling, beamed ceilings and brass
chandeliers unite to create the classic "club" look.
May be used in conjunction with the William Morris Room. This
view is a QuickTimeVR panoramic image. For up to 90 people. View
the seating arrangements for 24,30,72 or 90 people.
