Membership Categories
There is a membership category designed to fulfill the needs of every member. All University Club memberships include special dining and lodging privileges at our historic sister property - Stout's Island Lodge (www.stoutsislandlodge.net) - as well as at a plethora of local, national, and international reciprocal clubs. The University Club limits its membership to ensure that personal attention is provided to every member. The University Club's commitment to family is expressed by offering memberships that include full access for parents, grandparents, grandchildren, and children at no additional charge, based on the membership category.
Full Membership
Full membership entitles the member and his or her family full access to all of the facilities at the Summit Avenue clubhouse, including: all programs; social events; outdoor pool; tennis court; fitness center; dining privileges; and Executive Membership reciprocity at the Saint Paul Athletic Club* (www.thespac.com) - Now open!
Full Family Dues
$475 one-time application fee/ $149.50 per month (after 2/1/13: additional $50/month for use of the Saint Paul Athletic Club, if applicable)
Full Individual Dues
$350 one-time application fee/ $129 per month
Social Membership
Our social membership is perfect for those who do not require access to our pool and athletic facilities. All other club amenities are accessible, including our in-house clubs, member programming, social events, and bar and dining rooms overlooking the Mississippi River Valley. Social members have reciprocity to the social programming at the Saint Paul Athletic Club*, including Butler's and the Lobby Bar.

$250 one-time application fee/ $75 per month
Social Individual Dues
$150 one-time application fee/$75 per month
Senior Membership
Full membership privileges are available to members 70 years of age and older. These memberships share the privilege of a full membership, including unrestricted use of the Summit Avenue clubhouse's dining, pool, athletic facilities, social events and programs, and Executive Membership reciprocity at the Saint Paul Athletic Club* (www.thespac.com) - Now open!
Senior Individual Dues
$150 one-time application fee/ $99 per month
Senior Family Dues
$250 one-time application fee/$129 per month
Associate Membership
Associate memberships are available to individuals, couples, and families under 35 years of age. This membership shares the privileges of a Full Membership, including unrestricted use of the Summit Avenue clubhouse's dining, pool and athletic facilities, social events, club programs, and Regular Membership reciprocity at the Saint Paul Athletic Club* (www.thespac.com) - Now open!
Individual
$150 one-time application fee/ $79.00 per month
Couple/Family Dues
$175 one-time application fee/$129 per month
Student Membership
The University Club offers full-time college or university students (12 credits per semester minimum) Full Membership privileges. There is no reciprocity to the Saint Paul Athletic Club.
Individual/Family Dues
$99 one-time application fee/$49 per month
Non-Resident Membership
Non-resident memberships are available to individuals residing a substantial portion of the year outside of the greater Twin Cities metropolitan area (50 miles or more). This membership category shares the same privileges as a Full Membership, including unrestricted use of the Summit Avenue clubhouse's dining, pool and athletic facilities, social events, and club programs. There is no reciprocity to the Saint Paul Athletic Club.
Non-Resident Dues
$150 one-time application fee/ $350 annually
NOTE: a 10% discount is applied if dues are paid annually for full, social, or associate memberships and/or 10% is applied if a member referral results in an accepted membership application.
