Commonwealth Properties (www.commonwealthproperties.com) is the property management company which manages the University Club's facilities and is affiliated with the University Club. In addition to the club's properties it also manages a unique group of historic properties, each of which offers discounts to University Club members. The following is a brief description of the main properties.
Downtown Saint Paul Hotel - hotel 340
Hotel 340 (www.hotel340.com) is a 56 room boutique extended stay hotel property located in the Downtown Clubhouse. The hotel offers a wide variety of rooms and suites - most with kitchenettes. The hotel shares a lobby bar with the Downtown Club, and guests have access to the buildings athletic facilities.
Summit Avenue Carriage House
The Burbanks Livingston Griggs Mansion Carriage House is located immediately adjacent to the Summit Avenue Clubhouse's pool. It is a fully furnished two bedroom apartment with fireplace - available for rent daily, weekly or monthly. The views from most windows are spectacular.
The Saint Paul Building is located at 6 West Fifth Street in Downtown Saint Paul (the sothwest corner of Wabasha and Fifth Street). The Saint Paul Building offerings range from single offices with shared reception, services, and conference use (beginning at $350.00 per month) to multiple floor suites. It is a magnificent National Historoic Landmark building located one block form the Saint Paul Hotel, in the Ordway/Rice Park Historic District.
The Exchange Building is located at 26 East Exchange Street, on the same block as the Fitzgerald Theater. The Exchange Building is also listed on the National Register and offers office options simialr to the Saint Paul Building.
The Dacotah Building (home to W.A.Frost) offers architurally distinguished office spaces - most overlooking the W.A. Frost garden area. Single offcies and small suites are currently available.
